Our Logo/Branding Process.

Phase 1: Initial Meeting.

I typically start with an initial meeting. In this meeting, I learn a little more about you, your business, and your ideas. After the session, you receive my notes, an invoice, and a contract. I ask clients to think of colors, ideas, and fonts for their logo to start the process. I recommend that my clients use Pinterest to get an idea of the types of logos that they gravitate towards in general.

Phase 2: Drafts.

After figuring out sample colors, fonts, and example logos, I begin the drawing process. I use Procreate to sketch logo examples. I typically provide clients with 4-6 options of logos that embody their organization’s values and services. If you like one of the options, we move on to phase 3. If you want to see changes in the logo drafts, I will take your feedback and provide another set of drafts. This process is iterative and is finished once the client is happy with the product.

Phase 3: Variations.

During this phase, I start to make the final versions of your logo on Adobe Illustrator. This is where the sketchy logo draft from the previous phase becomes prestine with straight lines, even spacing, and that professional finish. I send client the main logo in it’s final form to get any last minute feedback for change. Once the main logo is approved in the final form, I finish by making variations of the main logo depending on the client (i.e., version with and without text, version in secondary color set, versions in Black/White, version with background, version with more transparent parts).

Phase 4: Finale.

In the last stage, I email you the final versions of the logo in a folder. For an additional fee, I also can provide a simple brand board which shows the font used, colors used, and final logo. This board may help you in the future when you are sharing your brand or working on future content.
